Some days are just great! Yesterday was on those when I was really soaring through life on my high flying disc. I love those days!
It began waking up rather easily, I really wasn’t feeling teaching yoga class and was hoping to take a Zumba class instead. My Friday students are some mamas from my daughter’s I love them and love teaching them, and we practice at a nearby dance studio, but when I arrived at school I found out about our school parent meeting so these particular moms were unable to come to class. This left me with just a bit of free time before Zumba and to visit with some other friends seeking to stay on that high flying disc, over coffee at the close by Whole Foods (right next to the gym).
I got to catch up with them, then ran over to take my Zumba class. After class, I was on my way home, had a great conversation with another love worker who is closely connected to some homeless in the community, then I got a request for a ride from a guy I have driven several times before. I love my regulars!
But not to bore you, Friday is my car wash day, I have to get my car ready for my weekend passengers. I needed to get to my favorite car wash so I was headed in that direction when I got a request from this gal who had to get to work. It didn’t dawn on me until I was pulling off the expressway that I ended up right across the street from my favorite car wash joint! I could and couldn’t believe it and I kinda did a little whoop out loud, of course I had to explain to my passenger of why I was so ecstatic, but these are the moments you KNOW you are on that high flying disc!
The whole day was like this, every passenger took me to the area of town in exactly where I needed to be for my next errand. I had an overwhelming amount of donations picked up and delivered for my Booty in a Backpack Project, the date I wanted to schedule for the filling of the backpacks at the Louisville Free Public Library was available, it was just one thing after another.
