We approached this tunnel on our day long vacation,
our time away from the city, away from technology, away from the monotony of day to day lie; we not only approached this one lane, dark mountain tunnel, we also went through it!
It was a little unnerving as we approached, but also exciting!
I could see the light on the other side, and it was so cool. I instantly thought about the quote referring to the light at the end of the tunnel, and the thing wilhen one approaches a tunnel is there is only one way through or one must turn around.
I have been listening to the daily mediations by Deepak Chopra and Oprah each morning and today’s message is “Belief renews me each day.” The image of the tunnel came to mind as one has to believe and simply know the tunnel leads to the light, and sometimes trekking thru the tunnel is the only way to go if you want to get there.
Imagine your tunnel, the darkness and unnerving parts of a trek thru the tunnel. What fears may come up? How long is the tunnel? With this particular tunnel, what if it collapses while we are underneath and inside the tunnel? What if it never ends? These are thoughts we can become consumed with with the tunnel, but also with aspects of our life.
I realized I am in a tunnel right now. My life is in somewhat of a transition and I am not sure which direction to go but I really only have one way which is through and I must have belief in myself, in the process, in a loving Universe, God or loving energy, in the journey, and in the outcome. I have to believe, and begin each day with renewed beliefs, continuing with baby steps forward on my path through the tunnel.
Are you just approaching the tunnel? Are you in the middle? Can you see the end of the tunnel, the light?
What tools are you using to make your way through? We literally were in a car, and we were using our minds to get trough the tunnel to arrive on the other side. As I am in my tunnel, my space of transition, I have found the need for time in nature, meditation to discovery inner most beliefs, a little more exercise, more time writing and reading, ; these activities have become my vehicle as I trekking thru my tunnel of transition. What is your vehicle?
Have a great Thursday!
Find your light…over and over and over again!
